about

A tribute to my favourite ambient drone track that I term ambient drone by itself. Marsen Jules - The Endless Change Of Colour. Because I can play it all day and not get bored. Because I can slot the USB stick in the hifi and bliss out to balm softness emanating from the speakers for 24 hours. My favourite drone track as pure drone is BJ Nilsen & Stillupsteypa - Space Finale 1.2 looped in the 4 minute intro for 31 minutes-60 minutes, but I can constantly return to Marsen's USB stick as a trusty daily companion that's not too annoying or dark for my imagined neighbours. As well as David Tagg - Sleeping Pills ambient USB stick, this tribute on guitar to www.marsenjules.de is an ode to belonging to instrumental devices.

A free download as thanks for the support and to copyright respect Marsen's piece, originally released as a 47 minute generative drone CD in 2014, and reviewed by me under Mick Buckingham name on www.fluid-radio.co.uk at the time. Please search out 'Les Fleurs' and 'Beautyfear' albums by Marsen. I own these and they are great, just great, hours of fun bundled into a cinematic world of soundscapes.

I took a bit more time to get my tribute to Banksy, FL Wanksy Art right this time, utilising a few more contrasting colours in another childlike imagining of How I Play Guitar. It suits the music, really. When I'm in such an infancy for this type of istrument, some of the best stuff I'll ever do comes out, some of the least polished, but always, at the present moment, the most honest.

"This is how I play guitar...Jazz guitar Volume 1".
Recorded on my Christmas present of 2015 - a six-string Epiphone.
