...So it has come to this. Another year ends, another retrospective. This time on the aspect of jilted harmonies, jaunty frequencies, and stuff that sounds plain sick, not in a crustie's "sick blad" way, just ill.

The very nature of being jilted is often based upon some glitch in a life style, like a back space in a spacebar. These tracks represent as candy floss to that flush hand.

The approach to these 2 tracks (at present) is different. "Swirlixer", very much a Longformacus piece. Long, drawn out dissonance. There's a more padded out version, but we think this is the best one. I made 4 tunes on Remembrance Day's next morning (12/11/2019 4am headset). 4 versions of these 2 tunes. One is better with a second channel. But it's surprising how often the rawest and ruffest loops succeed better.

Of course, that could be my own preferences speaking. I'm firmly "for" keeping things simple. In an age of doofery and masturbatory wig-outs, we need simple and effective loops to govern the hook consciousness. To provide a meaning! There's nothing better than getting high on some psychedelic jam, but to me, it has to have structure to avoid becoming kitsch and forgettable.
