I invite multiinstrumentalist Jo Quail to the fold here, a young musician with a wealth of gigging and compositional experience. This track "Gold" is the final piece from her new album for 2016, and is recorded at concert pitch (440hz). The track begins with unease in mood and then unwravels to a brighter ending.

The concept of this record was fulfilled by Jo's track before I made "Pill Ode", a piece using fragments of samples from David Tagg's Pill USB. As you can see from the graff art I made, pills cost money, but sometimes mental health systems and the government confuse wellbeing with money. Hence the visual metaphor for 'taking a dollar' instead of 'taking a pill'.

If Jo agrees to be paid I will pay her, just like I have the other artists upcoming on this benefit series. The point remains to present great music that aids the wellbeing of people experiencing it. Naturally, you can stream this for as long as you like, or if you want to show your support for MIND, IMO the best UK mental health charity, just buy it.
